Sing from your heart. Enjoy music workshop
@Hotel New Otani Tokyo

August 29th (Sunday) Report

Recently, we held a singing workshop at the Hotel New Otani, inviting Sayaka Watabiki, an actress who is mainly active in musicals! In each workshop, participants practiced for about 40 minutes using their favorite Disney music, and then performed in front of their families.

On the day, we asked the children to bring their precious treasures and sing with them, making them really happy.

I was impressed by what she said: "It is important to sing well in tune, but when you can sing while drawing on your imagination to describe what is important to you and the scenery you are seeing, you will be able to create a song that only that child can sing!"

I was moved by Watabiki's beautiful, heartfelt singing voice and I think the children were able to experience the joy of singing from the heart.

Thank you so much, Watabiki-san, for this wonderful opportunity😌🤍
And thank you to everyone who participated!

Watabiki will be appearing as Marilyn Pratt in the musical Soho Cinders in November and December.
The musical was created by the famous composer and lyricist duo Styles & Drew, known for the additional songs of the musical "Mary Poppins" and "Honk!", based on the fairy tale "Cinderella". Please check it out!

While musicals are her main field, she is also actively involved in solo live performances and Disney concerts.
